This entire series is great for introducing sex in a godly way from a young age. I have found them to be informative, honest and clear about the importance of sex being saved for marriage.

For a long time, I looked for a book that introduced sexual topics in a gentle and age appropriate way. This book is ideal. Everything in the book relates back to God’s plan for our marriages. Kids will relate well with this book since it is told in such a family friendly manner. Like many people, I was afraid this would be awkward but I did not feel awkward about reading this book to my kids. Although the book does use many proper anatomical terms, sperm and egg are not specifically mentioned, but saved for the next book in the series. Instead, they say that God took a little piece of both Mom’s and Dad’s bodies to make the baby. This took a bit of explaining, since my daughter said “But Mommy, there are no pieces of you missing!” :) Also, the artwork is beautiful. This is the story of an average family, the kids look just like most kids these days, so they will relate to it easily. I learned about this book from the Focus on the Family website, but it is a better deal on Amazon. Focus on the Family rocks!!!

This book was great! We have remained very general with our children, and this book was a perfect doorway to usher in an open trusting diolouge with our children about sex. Done in a very respectful, gentle, modest way. It does not go into deatail about physical love but lays the buildiong blocks to talk of these things when the days come years from now. I expected shock and questions but it was recieved gracefully and my children really enjoy the book. We have nevr discussed anything as far as this subject as to not over burden our children with knowledge too heavy for them . But we desire in that to remain truthful and approachable. SO this is a great balance and excellent begining. Our girls are 3,4,& 6 . This book was good for all of them and can be used with boys and girls. I will wait probably 6 months before reading the 2nd book to our six year older. No need to go full speed here. This is special topic and needs to be dealt with in a wise manner. Excellent , Excellent book. We are very careful at what we present to our kids, so this is great for all families.

This comes from a very relaible source/publisher and I was not dissapointed. It is helpful, honest, age appropriate and yet modest. I am glad to have it to help with the conversations that we have already been having with our son.
