I considered buying this book until I explored the reviews. All of the “5-star” reviews are clearly written by the authors themselves or their publicists. Nearly every review points out a different potential audience … lesbians, therapists, the old, the young … even men (which helps substantiate the weird title). Even the structure of each review is similar — each “reviewer” reveals something about her- or himself, makes a positive comment, then a final “buy this book!” testimonial.

When I decided to read other reviews by each reviewer, this book tended to be the only one ever commented on. When there WAS another book, it was typically the author’s previous book.

I am so disappointed by the authors’ self-aggrandizement and dishonesty that I will not buy this book or any other by them.

Two people wrote poor reviews of the book. I will say that I do believe their comments!

S. Smith must surely be a man. Why else would such accusations be made about the authors of this book? Perhaps an injured ego? What a shame someone is trying to cast doubt on people who have written such a ground-breaking book, or the people who have written reviews about the book, in a world full of uncertainty, even danger for doing something so brave and bold. S. Smith sounds as though he has an axe to grind!

Sue Johanssen, Sunday Night Sex Talk hostess, found the book to be very helpful, and full of important information. So much so that she had one of the authors on her show to discuss it. You don’t see that too often!

I am thankful for this book, and the brave and honorable way the authors have handled such a difficult situation. Thank you for both!

Being a married man a looking to keep our relationship exciting, I was hoping for some insight into the complex ways of the female body. But instead of a guide to potential pleasure I received a pocket book guide of life-facts. Don’t get me wrong, the information was very informative and I did learn, it is just not what I had expected to be reading. This is definitely a guide for women, not men.

The title says “tips” and I believe tips to be suggestions. This book is all about trying to enhance pleasure for women no matter who is providing it to them. If I need my car worked on I take it to a mechanic. If I want to know how to please a WOMAN I’ll certainly ask WOMEN. Remember that women view pleasure differently than men do on most occasions. If you’re a man or a woman and you need some “tips” you can’t go wrong with this book.
