This is the second installment to the ‘The Braddocks Secret Son’ series. It involves Shondra Braddock and her quest to find out if their father’s accident was an accident or murder. In the first book, The siblings find out that their father made a secret business trip and it is connected to something or someone at Stewart Industries. Shonda gets a job there to try and find out what she can about the connection to their Dad. She ends up falling in love with the CEO Connor Stewart. He is fun and as reckless as she has been in her past and the closer they get the harder it is for her to confide in him about her true reason for being there. He finds out the truth before she can tell him from her over protective brothers and all hell breaks loose. You will have to read the story to find out the outcome and it will have you anxious to read the next installment to this series.

When Connor finds out the truth about Shornda he is upset but not before realizing his feelings for her. With the vow to help Shornda and Connor finds themselves in the mix of an interracial affair.
Robyn Amos turns up the heat with an unexpected twist however, the book started slowly but it did gain momentum to only slow in the middle while finishing out with a surprise. Robyn is defiantly an author to continue to read.

I finished the book in a day. I like the chemistry between Shondra and Conner..HOT! Maybe Shondra’s friend Lisa should have her story told since she’s trying to find herself. The part of the story where Shondra goes out on a date with that football player was so funny to me. The only problem I had was that she didn’t spend too much time looking for clues to her father’s death. I guess she was too busy doing other things. I wanna go to Monte Carlo.
