Is this the same author that wrote the raunchy novel, “THE HOTTEST SUMMER EVER KNOWN?” If so, she is using a psudonym under this title probably because of the sexually explicit language and excessive profanity. For the holier than thou folks, it would be considered sacreligious and hypocritical for an evangelist to write such vulgarity. But frankly, I think it is courageous and helpful to write characters in their true nature. If you are in fact the author, then congrats on taking Christianity a step further.
Now for Single, Saved and Having Sex, there are very many books on this subject and this is just a reinforcement or reiteration of those already written.

I purchased this book awhile back(over 3 months ago) and had not completed it yet. I have read several other books though on the same subject matter….Hmmm…

I don’t know? I read the foreward on the book and I am not going to say that I knowck it completely, but are you telling me that because I french kiss my boyfriend that I have sinned? A lot of things can lead to sexual acts more than just oral sex or masterbation. I could be lying next to my boyfriend fully clothed and kissing him without tongue and that could spark something. So does that mean it’s okay for me to shower with my boyfriend as long as we don’t french or that our genitals don’t meet each other or each others mouths? I mean what is the limit according to Ty? I do think that we should sit down and talk one on one with God about the sexual struggles we are personally going through. And if you have a partner, like a boyfriend or girlfriend, then you should talk with them about your concerns, pray together about this issue. If they can’t handle it, then maybe it’s better just to end that relationship so that you won’t bring yourself down the wrong path that is not yours. Homosexuality, there’s no getting around that. It plainly states to not have any kind of relationship with someone of the same sex. There is a way to get to people without saying “if you’ve done this, then you are wrong and damned to hell”. The author gives off that feeling. She makes it seem like she is Ms. Pure and God herself. As if she wrote the manual on the meaning of sex and the rights and wrongs. But she did not. It’s all in the delivery. Man or woman, stay stong in the Lord, let Him rule your mind and soul.

I was made aware of this book as my friends got together for a discussion on dating (men & women). The topic is relevant because although we’d hate to admit it, sex outside of marriage is PREVALENT in the church setting. Even though we as Christians are taught otherwise, the history of fallen preachers and raging hormones continue to plague the daily lives of single Christians. Poor us, right? Anyway, the book was our first, and since then we’ve had many group discussions, so thank you Ty Adams for starting us off! Additionally, she was one of the writers that inspired me to write my own dating book The Diva Dating Manual

I am writing in praise of Single, Saved, and Having Sex. This is an awesome book no matter how you look at it. The real subject matter pertains to being single, saved, and not having sex. Ty spoke in an in your face manner concerning some taboo subjects most people tip-toe around. Especially those in the ‘church’. I have nothing but praise for the content. Ty will convict your heart and soul and perhaps you will reclaim the self worth and dignity we often give so easily away to others.
Get off the merry-go-round and get ready to live single, saved, and not having sex.
