If you’re looking for a Christian teenage boy’s guide to remaining abstinent and unhorny, look no further! Along with some dashed-off stick-figure drawings (think xkcd with none of the charm) that I imagine are intended to be appealing in an ironic sense, you’ll find loads of threats and platitudes aimed at keeping kids abstinent until marriage, and plenty of bible verses to back it up.
Not only does this book rail against sex, it warns against masturbation, flirting, spooning, napping together, tickling, and even emotional closeness. Pretty much any physical or emotional contact between sexes outside of the confines of a church-sanctioned marriage between “one man and one woman” (yes, it uses that phrase) is frowned on.
Sex is basically described as a commodity that depreciates with use, and marriage as the penalty one must incur for access to sex. Premarital sex is compared to Starbucks giving coffee away for free and then wondering why they went broke.
If this premise goes along with your ideology, feel free to read this or pass it on to the teenage boys in your life. Though even then, with its style and lack of real information, it will only be useful to less sophisticated teens.
