This type of “analysis” should be placed next to the fortune tellers booth at the County Fair. The way someone writes provides absolutely no basis as to their personality. There has been no scientific studies to validate graphoanalysis. This book should be read for entertainment purposes akin to reading the Sunday comics.

I work on computers. I do not like reading fiction. I needed a book for airport and airline reading. This is a good read (non-computers) that works well for me in my spare time.

Loved this book! This highly entertaining and instructive book reveals what ones handwriting style reveals about ourselves and others. As an Engineer, normally I’m skeptical about subjects like this, but Michelle Dresbold won me over. Now, I can’t stop looking at the handwriting of everyone I meet. In addition to being entertaining, handwriting analysis has the potential to be an important business tool, with potential use in areas such contract negotiations and background screening of potential employees. Dresbold presents this subject in an easily understandable, fun and practical way. Highly recommended.

The title implies that handwriting reveals signs of wicked character. Can handwriting identify bad job seekers, business partners, or life partners before they make you miserable? Dresbold writes that appearances can be deceiving, but handwriting never lies. But, what would that brilliant crime scene investigator Sherlock Holmes think? Faced with a mystery, he logically deduced answers from careful observation of evidence. What do the shapes, slants, and directions of letters, words, and lines, reveal about a person’s soul, character, or personality? If handwriting reveals so much, where is the need for psychotherapy? This entertaining book reads like a fast-paced crime scene investigation and brushes aside logical explanations (e.g., more or less penmanship instruction) for the not so logical. And, unlike Sherlock Holmes, the author knows in advance who committed what crimes. In hindsight, it is always easy to find tell tale clues of wickedness. Holmes, I am sure, would be more interested in the ink and paper than the squiggles. The book is fun to read, but hardly science.
